AREA - Pillar Commercial JV makes new major office acquisition.

DALLAS, TEXAS (MARCH 26, 2026) – Dallas-based Pillar Commercial and New York-based Ascent Real Estate Advisors have formed a new joint venture partnership to acquire Rambler Park, a 310,943 square-foot, 14-story office tower in North Dallas. Rambler Park is home to a number of healthcare-related tenants and is at the epicenter of an established medical district anchored by Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital.
“We have known and worked with the Ascent team for more than ten years and look forward to another successful venture,” said Manny Ybarra, Founder and CEO of Pillar Commercial. “Rambler Park is an exceptional amenity-rich asset, and it represents the ideal property for our current investment strategy.”
Rambler Park boasts a number of tenant-oriented amenities including a fitness center, state-of-the-art conference facilities, tenant lounges and a popular on-site food service operator. Major tenants include Children’s Health, Westwood and The Baptist Foundation. Over the past ten years, the current and prior ownerships have invested significant capital to update and renovate the common areas.

This is the second joint investment for the two firms. In 2019, Pillar and Ascent acquired 2703 Telecom, a 121,000 square-foot office flex property in Richardson. They sold the asset within 18 months of acquisition after successfully leasing the remaining vacancy and achieving 100% occupancy.
In addition, the two firms have deep and relevant experience within this micro market. Pillar and Ascent have each owned a number of office properties within this submarket including Meadow Central, Meadow Park Tower, Search Plaza and 6500 Greenville.
